Our Routing & Dispatch App Goes Live

In 2025, we introduced the all-new NextBillion.ai Routing & Dispatch App, a comprehensive route planner designed for operations teams managing fast-moving, high-volume deliveries. 

Built on top of our enterprise-grade routing engine, the app brings together smart route planning, automated dispatching, real-time driver tracking, and live exception management in one unified interface. With capabilities like multi-stop optimization, geofence-based tracking, proof-of-delivery workflows, and customizable alerting, the app gives businesses end-to-end visibility and the precision needed to improve SLA performance, reduce inefficiencies, and scale their delivery operations confidently. Route Optimization API: Expanded Constraints & Performance Boost

This year, the engineering team transformed our Route Optimization APIs into a more powerful, efficient, and intelligent platform, with smarter algorithms and broader real-world constraint support that help enterprises optimize routes with greater speed, accuracy, and reliability. 

Key upgrades include 3D volume and cargo orientation for precise capacity planning, depot reruns that let vehicles return to base mid-route, and a reoptimization endpoint that updates only what has changed instead of recalculating entire routes. Features such as multiple breaks per vehicle and joint order grouping enable more realistic, compliant scheduling and task dependencies, making route planning more flexible, accurate, and scalable for complex operations.

Strengthening Our Product Suite

We launched a wave of new APIs and products to make routing and location intelligence smarter and more actionable for enterprise teams. 

The Road Segments API delivers richer road-level data, while the Driver Assignment API enables intelligent task-to-driver matching, and enhanced Routing, Live Tracking, and Places APIs add advanced preference controls and deeper visibility across the network.

Together with integrations from partners for real-time vehicle tracking and toll-aware routing, these capabilities empower logistics, field service, and mobility teams to plan smarter, respond faster, and optimize operations end to end.

Joining into the Velocitor Family

In October 2025, NextBillion.ai joined the Velocitor Solutions family through a full acquisition, marking a significant step in our long-term platform journey.

While customers such as Curri and Geotab initially expanded their engagement with us through upsell opportunities, many others were acquired directly as they searched for a flexible, enterprise-ready location platform. Beyond acquisition, our growth has been driven by customers building deeper, long-term relationships with the platform.
