As 2025 comes to a close, we are taking a moment to reflect on a year defined by growth, innovation, and real-world impact at NextBillion.ai. It has been a period of expansion, deeper customer partnerships, and breakthroughs that strengthened our position at the intersection of mapping, routing, and enterprise operations.
Throughout the year, we upgraded our solutions to support complex, more specialized enterprise routing workloads while maintaining the performance and stability our customers rely on.
Enhanced domain-driven modules and flexible APIs allowed teams across logistics, mobility, and delivery to increase on-time accuracy, streamline routing decisions, and achieve greater operational efficiency at scale.
Key Achievements
Key moments that marked our progress, sharpened our offerings, and expanded our global impact.
Our Routing & Dispatch App Goes Live
In 2025, we introduced the all-new NextBillion.ai Routing & Dispatch App, a comprehensive route planner designed for operations teams managing fast-moving, high-volume deliveries.
Built on top of our enterprise-grade routing engine, the app brings together smart route planning, automated dispatching, real-time driver tracking, and live exception management in one unified interface. With capabilities like multi-stop optimization, geofence-based tracking, proof-of-delivery workflows, and customizable alerting, the app gives businesses end-to-end visibility and the precision needed to improve SLA performance, reduce inefficiencies, and scale their delivery operations confidently. Route Optimization API: Expanded Constraints & Performance Boost
This year, the engineering team transformed our Route Optimization APIs into a more powerful, efficient, and intelligent platform, with smarter algorithms and broader real-world constraint support that help enterprises optimize routes with greater speed, accuracy, and reliability.
Key upgrades include 3D volume and cargo orientation for precise capacity planning, depot reruns that let vehicles return to base mid-route, and a reoptimization endpoint that updates only what has changed instead of recalculating entire routes. Features such as multiple breaks per vehicle and joint order grouping enable more realistic, compliant scheduling and task dependencies, making route planning more flexible, accurate, and scalable for complex operations.
Strengthening Our Product Suite
We launched a wave of new APIs and products to make routing and location intelligence smarter and more actionable for enterprise teams.
The Road Segments API delivers richer road-level data, while the Driver Assignment API enables intelligent task-to-driver matching, and enhanced Routing, Live Tracking, and Places APIs add advanced preference controls and deeper visibility across the network.
Together with integrations from partners for real-time vehicle tracking and toll-aware routing, these capabilities empower logistics, field service, and mobility teams to plan smarter, respond faster, and optimize operations end to end.
Joining into the Velocitor Family
In October 2025, NextBillion.ai joined the Velocitor Solutions family through a full acquisition, marking a significant step in our long-term platform journey.
This milestone goes far beyond scale or ownership. It brings together Velocitor’s deep enterprise software, fleet management, and operational intelligence expertise with NextBillion.ai’s AI-powered mapping, routing, and optimization capabilities to form a unified, future-ready platform for location-intensive industries.
Together, we are building a more powerful foundation for logistics, transportation, field services, and mobility operators, one that connects real-time fleet operations with advanced geospatial intelligence. The combined platform enables faster innovation, deeper configurability, and greater resilience at enterprise scale, helping customers move from point solutions to an integrated, end-to-end decision engine.
Most importantly, this integration accelerates our long-term vision: delivering a single, extensible platform that continuously adapts to complex operational realities, new regulations, changing road networks, evolving fleet models, and growing delivery volumes, while preserving continuity and trust. Both brands will continue to operate under their respective names in the near term, ensuring uninterrupted service as we expand capabilities behind the scenes. This is not just a milestone! It’s the foundation for what comes next. Read the full media coverage here.
Growing Our Global Footprint
Over the past few years, NextBillion.ai has built a strong and growing global customer base, with significant adoption across North America and Europe regions where routing accuracy, scalability, and compliance are critical.
While customers such as Curri and Geotab initially expanded their engagement with us through upsell opportunities, many others were acquired directly as they searched for a flexible, enterprise-ready location platform. Today, companies in the trucking and freight ecosystem rely on NextBillion.ai to power high-volume, time-sensitive logistics operations across global markets.
Beyond acquisition, our growth has been driven by customers building deeper, long-term relationships with the platform. Organizations across field services such as ServiceTitan, EasyHealth, and FW Web have expanded from core routing use cases into more advanced dispatching, real-time tracking, and operational optimization. In mobility and transportation, companies like Ryde, Goin, and Ride Care continue to extend their implementations as their networks scale.
This cross-industry adoption has enabled our customers to become leaders in verticals such as field service, waste collection, non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), trucking, and mobility while establishing NextBillion.ai’s position as a trusted, long-term technology partner for complex, location-driven operations worldwide.
At the Center of Industry Conversations
Throughout the year, NextBillion.ai actively engaged with customers, partners, and industry leaders across major logistics, fleet, and supply chain forums in North America.
Across these conversations, a consistent message emerged:
- AI has moved from experimentation to operational necessity in routing, dispatch, and compliance
- Fleets require deeper location intelligence, not just maps, but lane rules, permits, and real-world constraints
- Operational efficiency increasingly depends on configurable platforms that adapt to diverse fleets and regulations
These insights strengthened a clear industry shift toward integrated, AI-powered location platforms built for resilience, scale, and measurable outcomes.
Recognition That Validated Our Direction
2025 was also a year of meaningful recognition. NextBillion.ai was named a winner of the NASSCOM DeepTech Emerge 50 Award in Enterprise Tech and received the Top Tech Startup Award from Food Logistics, honors that reflect both technical innovation and real-world impact.
Our growing role in healthcare logistics was further validated through leadership recognition in G2’s Non-Emergency Medical Transportation category, while our leadership team was recognized globally for building technology with purpose and scale.
Carrying the Momentum into 2026
As we close out 2025, the focus at NextBillion.ai is firmly on what comes next. The momentum built over the past year, driven by strategic alignment, deeper customer impact, and rapid product evolution has laid a strong foundation for an ambitious 2026.
With our AI-powered routing, navigation, and mapping capabilities now integrated into a broader enterprise logistics Velocitor ecosystem, we are entering the next phase of scale with clarity and confidence. Our platforms are designed to support increasingly complex operations, serving fleet-heavy enterprises across North America while enabling global customers to expand seamlessly across regions.
The year ahead will be defined by focused execution and continued innovation. In 2026, we will begin rolling out advanced capabilities such as AI-driven dispatchers, intelligent agents for reporting and billing, and automated safety and compliance workflows, bringing hardware, software, and data together into a single, unified operational experience.
As we expand into new markets including the UK, the Netherlands, Australia, and the UAE, our mission remains unchanged- to help operations teams move smarter, safer, and faster at any scale. Backed by strong partnerships, a growing global team, and a clear product vision, NextBillion.ai is ready to turn the momentum of 2025 into measurable impact in 2026.
“We enter 2026 with gratitude for how far we have come and conviction in where we’re headed.”- Team NextBillion.ai
