We are back with a power-packed roundup of product updates for Q2 2025. This quarter has been nothing short of transformative, with updates that are twice as exciting and innovative as those from the last quarters.
From launching a new version of route planner app to rolling out impactful features across our existing products, we have made significant strides. Every update has a story to tell and a vision to follow.
These are not just improvements but are steps toward the smarter, faster, and more connected routing future we are building together. Let’s dive in!
Here’s a quick look at what we’ve been building in this quarter and why we are so thrilled to share it with you.
Routing & Dispatch App Version 2 is Live
We’re thrilled to introduce the all-new Routing & Dispatch App, built from the ground up to help logistics teams plan smarter, adapt faster, and deliver more efficiently. With a refreshed user experience, saving your preferences, automated parameter mapping, and accurate geocoding of addresses, this upgrade brings unmatched precision and agility to your operations.
Whether you’re managing high-volume deliveries or handling last-minute changes, the new app is designed to simplify complex workflows and ensure consistency, speed, and control, mile after mile.
These enhancements are designed to significantly reduce the overall time-to-value, which includes both the time and effort needed to arrive at an optimized solution. As a result, analysis and outcomes are delivered faster compared to the previous interface.

Azuga Route Optimization Integration
Azuga users, we’ve got something exciting for you! Vehicles with locations can now be imported from an Azuga account using an n8n workflow, enabling streamlined Route Optimization requests with up-to-date fleet data.
This can allow users to automatically import real-time vehicle data insights such as current locations, without manual intervention. Azuga users can now build optimized routes using the most up-to-date fleet information, saving time, improving dispatch accuracy, and reducing operational delays. It streamlines fleet management and makes route planning smarter, faster, and more reliable.

Teaming Up with TomTom Orbis
We are thrilled to partner with TomTom to bring Orbis Maps into our platform. This integration enhances route accuracy, ETA precision, and vehicle-specific compliance, empowering logistics and mobility teams with smarter, safer, and more efficient operations.
Feature Upgrades in Route Optimization API
Route optimization API just got a few more upgrades! With improved algorithms and real-time data handling, you can optimize routes more efficiently, reduce delays, and boost fleet productivity.
3D Volume & Cargo Orientation
Our new 3D Volume & Cargo Orientation feature enables smarter capacity planning by factoring in the actual size and orientation of items. It’s ideal for bulky deliveries like furniture, appliances, or vehicles, helping you fit loads efficiently, reduce trips, and save time and fuel.

Depot Reruns
With this new feature, operators can now specify how many times a vehicle should return to the depot to reload items during a delivery run. This is useful for last-mile or retail deliveries where a high volume of items needs to be delivered using a limited fleet.
By allowing vehicles to make multiple trips to the depot, businesses can fulfill more orders without adding extra vehicles, maximizing efficiency and reducing operational costs.
Reoptimization Endpoint
Re-optimizing routes is now simpler and faster. Instead of resubmitting the entire solution, you can now use the original request ID and just share the changes like cancelled tasks or new vehicles. This streamlined approach makes real-time adjustments more efficient and less error-prone.
Multiple Breaks
You can now configure multiple breaks for a single vehicle. This is an upgrade from the previous one-break limit. This is especially useful for long-haul or full-day deliveries where drivers need multiple pauses for refueling, meals, or mandatory rest as per safety regulations.
All such breaks can now be seamlessly integrated into your route optimization request.
Joint Orders
This feature allows grouping of tasks using a shared “joint_order” ID, ensuring they are either all scheduled together or not at all. It’s ideal for multi-step tasks with dependencies.
For instance- the delivery and installation of an electrical appliance can be clubbed together. If one cannot be completed, the other won’t be scheduled, maintaining operational consistency and customer satisfaction.
Driver Assignment API Enhancements
The Driver Assignment API now supports more flexible and intelligent logic, allowing for faster, more accurate driver-task matching based on real-time availability and operational constraints. This ensures improved efficiency in dynamic delivery environments.
New Filter: Pickup Distance
A new feature allows you to define the maximum driving distance between a vehicle and an order for assignment eligibility. Vehicles located beyond this threshold will automatically be excluded. This is especially useful for improving customer experience, ensuring that vehicles assigned are close by and minimizing wait times.
Multi-Destination Trips
You can now create trips with a single pickup location and multiple drop-offs, expanding beyond the previous one-drop-off limitation. This is ideal for use cases like warehouse-to-customer deliveries, where goods are picked up from a central hub and distributed to multiple destinations in a single trip.

Priority Orders and Vehicles
You can now assign priority levels to both orders and vehicles, allowing the Driver Assignment service to prefer them during allocation. This is especially useful for serving premium customers or utilizing preferred drivers and vehicles, ensuring faster and more efficient assignments.
Routing API Enhancements
Our upgraded Routing APIs deliver faster responses and more accurate, reliable routes, even in complex, real-world delivery and mobility scenarios.
Exclude & Soft-Avoid Behaviors in Routing APIs
We’ve introduced a new “exclude” parameter that lets you hard-avoid specific road objects or maneuvers. If no valid route exists, an error is returned. The existing “avoid” parameter now acts as a soft-avoid, suggesting alternative routes when possible, but allowing passage if no alternatives exist.
We’ve added support for the toll_cost feature in the Directions Flexible API. By specifying “road_info”: “toll_cost” in the input, the API now returns an estimated range of toll costs likely to be incurred along the route between the given origin and destination.
Other Noteworthy Updates
Routing & Dispatch App – New Interface for Route Re-dispatch
You can now easily re-dispatch an already dispatched route directly from the Fleet Hub > Routes page via the NCC interface. This streamlines route management and improves operational flexibility.
Enhanced NCC Playground User Experience
The NCC Playground has been upgraded with a more intuitive interface, faster response times, and improved usability, making it easier to test, visualize, and refine your API requests in real time.
That wraps up our updates for this quarter! We’re excited about what’s next and can’t wait to share more with you soon.
What’s Next Is Already in the Works
We will be back soon with another round of exciting launches and meaningful updates. Each one crafted to ensure your routing workflows remain seamless, efficient, and ahead of the curve. As always, our focus is on continuous improvement, so you can count on us to keep delivering a better, smarter version, every single time.
Until then, we would love to hear your feedback. Our team is always here to listen, support, and help you get the most out of these updates.
