Route Optimization
Optimize pickup-and-delivery routes with time windows, vehicle capacity, multi-depot planning, service times, and 50+ operational constraints for dispatch-ready plans.
Solve complex pickup-and-delivery routing with time windows, capacity limits, multi-stop sequencing, and live dispatch controls in one platform. NextBillion.ai helps logistics teams plan PDPTW routes faster, reduce miles and delays, and keep costs predictable with per-order or per-vehicle pricing instead of runaway pay-per-call billing.

Integrated tools for planning, optimizing, dispatching, tracking, and refining complex pickup-and-delivery operations at scale.
Optimize pickup-and-delivery routes with time windows, vehicle capacity, multi-depot planning, service times, and 50+ operational constraints for dispatch-ready plans.
Assign drivers, push routes to the field, and manage dynamic changes as orders are added, delayed, or reassigned during active operations.
Monitor vehicles in real time, recalculate ETAs, detect route deviations, and maintain visibility from planning through proof of completion.
Automate arrival, departure, and dwell-based workflows at depots, pickup points, and delivery stops with configurable virtual boundaries.
Guide drivers with commercial-grade turn-by-turn navigation that respects route logic, vehicle constraints, and custom road attributes.
Customize road rules, closures, turn restrictions, and access permissions so routing reflects real operating conditions instead of generic map assumptions.
NextBillion.ai gives logistics teams the infrastructure to solve pickup-and-delivery problems with paired stops, strict time windows, capacity rules, driver assignment, and dynamic re-optimization. Instead of stitching together separate tools, you get optimization, dispatch, tracking, navigation, and map customization in one platform. The result is faster planning, fewer manual overrides, better on-time performance, and more predictable routing costs as order volume grows.

See how logistics teams use NextBillion.ai to reduce costs, improve ETAs, and scale routing operations.
Built for logistics operators that need more than basic route planning.
Supports 50+ routing constraints for real pickup-and-delivery operations, not simplified consumer routing scenarios.
Per-order and per-vehicle pricing helps control costs as route volume and re-optimization frequency increase.
Trial access starts quickly, with production go-live possible within one week using solutions engineering support.
Choose cloud, marketplace, or on-premise deployment with security and integration support for complex environments.

Co-Founder
Ajay Bulusu is a co-founder of NextBillion.ai, bringing deep expertise in geospatial technology and large-scale location platform engineering. His journey began in 2017 as part of Grab's pioneering Geo team, where he helped build the location infrastructure underpinning one of Southeast Asia's largest mobility and logistics platforms. That experience revealed how critical — and how underserved — accurate, flexible location technology was for real-world operations. Driven by a mission to democratize sophisticated location intelligence, Ajay co-launched NextBillion.ai in 2020. Under his technical leadership, the platform has scaled to serve 150+ businesses globally, optimize over 10.9 million deliveries and field tasks, and deliver more than $11 million in documented cost savings to customers.

Co-Founder
Gaurav Bubna drives product innovation at NextBillion.ai, bringing a proven track record of building successful products from scratch across ride-hailing, food delivery, and logistics. Before co-founding NextBillion.ai, Gaurav held product leadership roles at Grab, Ola, and Morgan Stanley — organizations where location technology and operational efficiency are existential. His time on Grab's Geo team alongside Ajay and Shaolin crystallized the vision: logistics and field service businesses needed enterprise-grade location intelligence without prohibitive per-call pricing. Since launching NextBillion.ai in 2020, Gaurav has led the product evolution that has helped the platform navigate over 557 million miles and raise $34.25M in venture capital from investors including Lightspeed and Microsoft's M12.

Shaolin Zheng is a co-founder of NextBillion.ai, contributing deep technical expertise in geospatial systems and scalable mapping infrastructure. Like his co-founders, Shaolin's formative experience building location technology for Grab's Geo team gave him firsthand insight into the operational gaps that generic mapping solutions leave unaddressed — particularly for field service and logistics businesses operating at scale. His engineering perspective shapes NextBillion.ai's core philosophy: location technology must be customizable, cost-predictable, and production-reliable. The platform he helped build now powers GPS tracking, route optimization, and field service intelligence for over 150 businesses worldwide, with on-premise deployment options and SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certifications ensuring enterprise-grade security.
Pickup and delivery route optimization software solves routing problems where each job includes a linked pickup and drop-off, often with strict time windows, vehicle capacity limits, service times, and route duration rules. A PDPTW platform builds feasible routes that keep paired stops in the correct order, assigns work to the right vehicles, and helps dispatchers adapt when orders, traffic, or driver availability change during the day.
